         Achieved an Honorable Mention award for New Technique Found for Bypass Pump publication obtainable in The American College of Physician Executive s 1992 edition of INNOVATIONS.

         Restructured the Medical College of Virginia s pediatric program / protocols utilizing Children s Hospital Boston as a model.

         Designed a rapid infusion device for use in trauma medicine which was developed prior to commercially available systems and supported the success of the Medical College of Virginia s liver transplant program and trauma / vascular procedures.

         Coordinated a CLIA compliance program for a high-volume perfusion department at West Virginia University Hospital.
