Throughout my progressive career, I have repeatedly demonstrated my knowledge of enterprise-level application, performance, and systems engineering testing policies, processes, best practices, and requirements as they relate to an integrated healthcare and benefits delivery systems environment.

In my current role as a System Integration Engineer for Global Security & Engineering, L3 Communications, I consistently apply my knowledge of enterprise-level application.  Exhibiting critical thinking and problem solving skills, I maintain full accountability for testing the Army Medical Combat Casualty (MC4) system from enterprise-level application, including the Oracle application.  The major systems that interact are active directory, Windows Server 2003, medical mobile device to enter solider information and verify it has been transferred over to online medical record.

I strategically build, develop and test hardware and software standards for MC4, instrumental to boosting productivity, efficiency and quality of operations.  Demonstrating strong attention to detail, I ensure alignment of developed systems with all specifications in the requirement specification document.  Contributing my technical skills, I optimize and streamline flow of transaction required to fulfill the soldiers personal medical record such as injury during combat and other types of health issues.

 

While working as a Test Engineer for WESTAT, I directly supported the National Institute of Health s principal agency for cancer research.  Applying my knowledge of enterprise-level testing, I tested Oracle applications, allowing the healthcare community to input a nationwide process on different cancer protocols.  I was relied upon to lend my technical expertise toward handling performance testing on the application to determine how much load stress it can take at one time.  I conducted comprehensive research and analysis from personal evaluation and feedback from senior management to improve test procedures.  Utilizing SQL, I performed manual tests on Oracle applications and Backend Database testing, and updated all test cases in Quality Center and the Master Test Plan. 

 

As an expert on enterprise-level application, performance, and systems engineering testing policies, processes, best practices, and requirements, I served as the Health Community Advisor on application issues, providing feedback and recommendations to management for defect reporting improvements.  Exhibiting advanced communication and interpersonal relation skills, I trained and supported medical staff nationwide and visited various hospitals onsite to help coordinate and facilitate training on Oracle applications, playing an instrumental role in their knowledge and development. 

 

I also acquired valuable knowledge and experience of enterprise-level application, performance, and systems engineering testing policies, processes, best practices, and requirements while pursuing my Master of Science in Information Systems and my Bachelor of Science in Information Systems.

As a System Integration Engineer for Global Security & Engineering, L3 Communications, I strategically optimized tracking of each functional and performance test procedure covered for each requirement by recommending the utilization of HP Quality Center which hold requirements, test cases, and defects at the same requirement traceability matrix.  I based the test on client/server and web-based application testing.  Exhibiting exceptional performance testing and requirements analysis skills, I ensured the successful outcome of the issue, generating reports through HP Quality Center to promote productivity, efficiency and easier tracking of audit trail and test execution.

 

Serving as the Lead Test Engineer, I thoroughly reviewed and analyzed business requirements and software system designs.  Further illustrating dynamic communication abilities, I advised team members of QA standards and ensured quality of deliverables.  With strong focus on ensuring top-performance, I trained team members on HP Quality Center and the proper procedures for testing and results reporting.

While working as a Lead Test Engineer at Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) Advanced Concept Business Unit, I gathered requirements from the customer for COTS product such as Oracle and CONGOS to fulfill specific requirements and enter into the configuration management tools such as PVCS tracker and HP Quality Center.  Applying my interpersonal relation skills, I met directly with customers to present system enhancement features on the existing system.  I proficiently introduced system enhancements, demonstrated improved functionality, and explained the benefits of using HP Quality Center for test case executions and generating defect reports.

 

In addition, I successfully steered the structuring and implementation of test cases based on over 400 requirements for Government acceptance testing.  I collaborated closely with developers and testers to ensure successful project completion.  I identified and addressed existing and potential issues and created proactive upgrades and enhancements for optimal results.  Based on the requirements, we used HP LoadRunner to test stress testing.  For automation, we used HP QuickTest Professional to generate reusable scripts to track progress on the applications based on ongoing new requirements and enhancements.

I also performed manual tests and ensured sufficient reporting/updating in the Quality Center, including reporting defects and promptly logging them into the defect tracking tool.  I increased report generation efficiencies by presenting new system enhancements to create effective defect reports through HP Quality Center.
