As demonstrated in the accompanying resume, I have 20+ years of military, intelligence, counterterrorism and law enforcement experience, with a strong focus on conducting investigations, analyzing facts, and preparing reports. I have strategically gathered facts and evidence for security investigations, evaluated data, and prepared detailed and comprehensive reports. In a supervisory capacity, I have conducted full investigations of security cases that presented substantial difficulties in resolving conflicts. I also have experience collaborating with senior specialists to identify incomplete or conflicting data and/or information gaps, and developing preliminary reports. Throughout my progressive career, I have conducted security investigations of concern to local, county, state, and/or federal agencies that crossed multiple law enforcement agency lines.

Currently, as a Security Manager at BAE Systems, I contribute dynamic leadership skills in overseeing a team of security professionals in supporting security programs and facilities in the Advanced Technologies Division. I have continually served as a primary support resource on security expertise, providing educated recommendations to staff as the current Security Lead on expansion of BAE Systems facilities to support various security clients for government contracts. I effectively supervise, organize and facilitate broad range of security functions to ensure critical compliance with department procedures as well as local, state and federal laws.

While working as Program Security Manager for Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), I applied advanced communication and presentation skills toward facilitating security briefings and indoctrination and providing classification management guidance to Program Managers. I directly managed physical OPSEC and computer security plans, integral to minimizing security issues. In addition, I optimized critical security and integrity of operations by strategically designing and executing proactive security plans, procedures, enhancements, and audits.

In my prior role as Information Security Manager at Windermere Information Technology Systems, I conducted investigations, analyzed facts and prepared comprehensive reports. Exhibiting critical thinking skills, I innovatively established a wireless encryption signal transmission system to effectively negotiate and coordinate with government security clients while still meeting DCID requirements. I also provided guidance and initiated standard practice procedures to meet DOD guidelines for processing classified information. I conducted comprehensive review and analysis to define, develop and execute various methods to protect and streamline software controls and facilitate quick installation. Also, I proactively prevented inadvertent and other mishandling of critical client documentation by initiating various procedures, and we successfully passed compliance inspections through the effective implementation of security management systems and procedures.

In addition, I spearheaded all aspects of establishing and maintaining SCI security programs nationally for Booz-Allen & Hamilton as the Senior Security Administrator. I successfully constructed a 28,000 sq. ft. secure distributed simulation facility with secure communications throughout the continental US for a government client and its contractors, applying my analytical abilities.
