Conducted research on Watermark soil moisture sensors as well as actively collaborated with MIT professor on biotechnology project focused on successfully building water moisture and plant soil sensor/electronic monitoring systems to enhance plant growth; incorporated 2 Watermark sensors and 2 SMX circuits as well as a 4-channel amplifier and analog to digital (A/D) converter for 24-hour automated monitoring, data storage and viewing using TerraNet system; achieved projected results (poster presentation available for review)

Steered engineering project focused on electronic access control and encompassing BS2 stamp (on parallax homework board) along with data-logger, time keeping chip, and an RFID reader mounted on 1/10th scale model of standard door for testing and working demonstration; sampling 3 students for validity and reliability, access tags personalized/registered to 2 students generated expected result of activating  green LED, indicating access , while unregistered third tag resulted in student being denied access via red LED signal
